NAME: Jesus is Lord Catholic Charismatic Renewal Group
MOTTO: Living the Faith
MISSION STATEMENT: To worship God through active participation in the catholic charismatic renewal of the Holy Roman Catholic Church and to use our lives, time, talent and treasure to build the body of Christ.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
i, To uphold all the teachings of the catholic church
ii, To devote part of our weekly meeting to our mother Mary.
Iii, To teach and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to all mankind.
Iv, To practice our Christian faith by praying, caring and supporting one another spiritually, physically and emotionally.
V, To encourage the spiritual growth and renewal of members and non-members through seminars, retreats, and conferences.
Vi, To help people discover and develop their spiritual Charisma and gifts/talents.
Leadership: The leadership of this prayer ministry is called SERVICE TEAM and it consist of the following:
A) Spiritual Director ( a priest of the Roman Catholic Church)who acts on advisory/counseling capacity to ensure that Roman Catholic Church spirituality is maintained in the decision and spiritual activity of the prayer group.
B) Administrative Arm—Coordinator, assistant coordinator, secretary, assistant secretary, Financial Secretary, Assistant Financial Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, and Public Relation Officer.
C) Leaders of various ministries.
